SHIPPING

We offer affordable and professional shipping options through all the major carriers, including the US Postal Service.  Our furniture is often too large to be shipped this way, but can be outsourced to independent trucking companies.  While we are happy to secure shipping quotes for our furniture customers (and facilitate the logistics), these quotes and shipping services are not affiliated with Asia West operations and therefore are beyond our control.

DELIVERY

We are happy to provide our own “blanket wrapped” delivery service to our customers throughout New England. Prices for delivery vary depending on the manpower required and the distance required to travel.  Our rates are usually less than the national trucking companies.  Please call the store to get a delivery quote or to arrange a delivery date. The delivery fee is non-refundable. Additionally, if delivery instructions are for items to be left outside due to customers’ absence, Asia West does not take responsibility for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

STORAGE

We are able to store your item in our facility for up to 30 days free of charge. All merchandise held over 30 days will be subject to a $200/month storage charge and must be paid in full before a storage term begins.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Merchandise may be returned within 30 days of purchase (with a receipt) for an exchange or store credit. Special order items and items sold on clearance are non-returnable and non-refundable. Returned merchandise must be in perfect condition.  If Asia West is asked to pick up furniture, delivery fees will apply.

Pick - Ups

Pick-ups should be scheduled 48 hours in advance. Merchandise being picked up by customers or their agents should be inspected before signing. Asia West assumes no responsibility for the safe delivery of merchandise not delivered by us. The customer is required to bring help to load and pack item(s) purchased. Asia West assumes no responsibility for any damage acquired to the purchased item(s) or vehicle while being moved by the customer. Asia West does not provide moving blankets or packing material. Customers who do not pick up their merchandise within 48 hours of the scheduled day, should call and reschedule a pick-up time.

PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Our products are individually hand-selected from our travels. Most are either handmade and/or antique goods. At times, the customer should expect color, finish or size variations in our items. Asia West products have character & tell the tale of their Asian origins and their journey to Portland, Maine.
